Christina's almost 14, and now there's three more kids, 4 horses, 25 or so chickens, 7 cats, and an acreage. Hubby completed physical therapy school, worked as a PT for 12 years, and is currently on month 4 of starting his own construction company.
I've gone from being a financial analyst for the state to construction accounting and sort of keeping track of our own business's books. As I read back over the old posts, what struck my attention was the sense of waiting. Previously it was due to hubby and I living in 2 places. Now I'm not sure what it is. I know there's things to do, but nothing quite seems important or urgent enough to do it. Until it does, and then there's about 500 things I want to do at once. But right now, school's done for the day, at least some of the horses have been taken care of I feel like I'm just waiting.
My youngest is 9 this year. That's also hard to believe. Last night after getting home from riding, I parked the truck and just let the kids unload horses. I wasn't needed to help anymore. Weird feeling.
